Geopost's 2B Recipient Barometer, conducted across 11 European countries and 8 industries, reveals the needs and expectations of SMEs, highlighting how delivery and logistics play a pivotal role in the growth of SME businesses.

89% of SMEs believe that delivery is essential to business success and that delays or missed deliveries have a significant impact on their operations. On-time delivery is a key factor in supplier selection, with 21% of SMEs considering it essential to work with a reliable courier. In fact, two-thirds of SMEs (64%) would like to be able to choose the courier for their shipments directly.

Reliable Delivery Services

When it comes to deliveries, for 70% of Italian SMEs, efficient problem-solving and safe delivery are must-haves. The ability to track shipments (57%) and on-time delivery (52%) are equally important.

Cross-border Deliveries

84% of Italian SMEs are satisfied with domestic deliveries. 91% of SMEs that find suppliers abroad are happy with international deliveries, with 42% rating them as excellent.
