Notice of attempted delivery to consignee via email or SMS


In the event the consignee is absent when the delivery is made, this service communicates, via email or SMS, the approximate date and time of the re-delivery, generally scheduled for the next working day.

This notice also includes the BRTcode which can be used directly on our website to arrange:

  • a new delivery, to the same address and on another day/at another time
  • a new delivery to a different address (if the sender has given prior authorisation)
  • collection of the shipment from a branch (goods in depot).
 

BRT customers that send shipment data electronically may activate this service simply by filling out the shipment consignee email address or mobile phone number field in the relevant file.
