The Fuel Surcharge is a tariff adjustment applied on the basis of the agreed contractual conditions and is calculated according to:
the reference base price indicated in the contract signed by the customer
the average weekly price of diesel
the minimum value of application (M.V.A.) equal to 1,952 €/l
and other tariff conditions indicated in the contract.
The website shows the average weekly diesel prices for the last two months (collected by the Italian Ministry of Economic Development) together with a table showing diesel price increases/decreases. In the "diesel increases/decreases" table, each step is increased by 1% over the previous step.
This allows you to calculate the Fuel Surcharge in a quick and easy way, counting the number of steps that separate the average weekly price of diesel, or the M.V.A., from the "reference base price" and multiplying them by the percentage indicated in the tariff conditions.
