Non-conveyable parcels

The term NON-CONVEYABLE parcels means some types of parcels that due to their peculiar shape, size or bulk are still today non-conveyable despite every attempt made to optimise processes, and require specific manual processing that makes their management more expensive.

The handling and processing of shipments containing one or more NON-CONVEYABLE parcels in fact generate:

  • lengthening of loading and unloading time
  • lengthening of sorting time due to their manual processing
  • less optimisation of the loads
  • more difficulty in organising delivery rounds

A parcel/pallet is non-conveyable when AT LEAST ONE of the following conditions occurs:
