Non-conveyable parcelsThe term NON-CONVEYABLE parcels means some types of parcels
that due to their peculiar shape, size or bulk are still today non-conveyable despite every attempt made to optimise processes, and require specific manual processing that makes their management more expensive.
The handling and processing of shipments containing one or more NON- CONVEYABLE parcels in fact generate:
- lengthening of loading and unloading time
- lengthening of sorting time due to their manual processing
- less optimisation of the loads
- more difficulty in organising delivery rounds
