Non-conveyable parcels

The term NON-CONVEYABLE parcels means some types of parcel which, due to their specific shape, size or bulk are considered non-conveyable even with every attempt to optimise processes, and demand specific manual processing that makes their management more costly.

The handling and processing of shipments containing one or more NON-CONVEYABLE parcels in fact generate:

  • lengthening of loading and unloading time
  • lengthening of sorting time because they have to be manually processed
  • less optimisation of the loads
  • more difficulty in organising delivery rounds

A parcel/pallet is non-conveyable when AT LEAST ONE of the following conditions occurs:
